Born and raised in Buffalo, Jennifer Mecozzi has deep roots in the community and has been a proven advocate for BPS students, families, teachers, and staff as a West District Board of Education Member since 2016.

As a working-class mother and grandmother of students attending Buffalo Public Schools, and with a daughter who teaches there, Jennifer Mecozzi is deeply invested in the success of the Buffalo Public Schools.

Jennifer Mecozzi is determined to elevate the voice of the community, with a focus on inclusion, communication, and transparency.
